Raval Housing Renovation
PROJECT
The project consisted of renovating a house in the Raval neighbourhood of the city of Elche to adapt it to the owners’ functional requirements and provide it with spatial and architectural quality. An old loft was renovated to transform it into a private space in the house, and a swimming pool was designed to resemble an old pool, recovering historical elements of the house.
The courtyard acts as the heart of the home, keeping it secluded from the street and giving it a vibrant interior life. The aim was to create a space through the remains of history, to harmonise it with its surroundings, and to endow it with quality, life and functionality.
