Alexandre Marcos
At AMO Architectural Office, Alexandre Marcos and his team of professionals carry out architectural projects in the fields of renovation, public buildings, private residential buildings and landscaping, in which organic forms and fine materials shape each project.
With a degree in Architecture, specialising in Building and Urban Planning, from the Higher Technical School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (ETSAV-UPV), Alexandre Marcos completed his studies in Urban Planning at the Faculty of Architecture of Porto (FAUP).
He has collaborated extensively with both universities, such as Facoltá Igenieria Edile/Architettura di Palermo (Italy), and various architects' studios, including Nuno Abrantes and Silvestre Navarro, where he has participated in the design and development of various architectural projects in the residential, multi-family and single-family sectors.
Alexandre Marcos has been honoured with various awards and mentions, including the ‘12th Iberian Pladur Construction Solutions Competition’ for an entrance pavilion to Gaudí's Güell Crypt and a Special Mention in the competition ‘Remodelling of the Plaza de la Glorieta, Avenida Juan Carlos I,’ Mula (Murcia).
